The trade show floor is intended to be a professional Business-to-Business environment and includes live onsite demos, often involving heavy machinery - for safety reasons we highly recommend that children do not attend.

You may be the subject of still photography or videography which is used by Informa Connect for purposes of promoting future events. By attending, you agree to grant Informa Connect the use of these materials for such purposes.

Please note that videoing speakers and presentations at this event is prohibited – we thank you for your understanding.

The management reserves the right to refuse the ticket.

International Visitors Registration and Visa Information

Upon approval, international registrations will receive a business visa invitation letter that includes show information and your registration confirmation. To help with the timely process of your application, be sure to provide evidence of your business with your registration such as a business website or LinkedIn profile link. Please note we will require up to 10 business days to process the Letter of Invitation. Refunds will be provided for denied registrations. Starting October 9, 2025, if your visa application requires more than 6 weeks, we might not be able to process the Letter of Invitation in a timely manner. Letters of invitation for visa applications will not be processed after November 15, 2025.

The Building Show/Informa does not assume any financial, legal, or other type of responsibility for any person during their attendance at this event.

Visitors are responsible for all costs associated with registration, travel, and the required travel documents. Please contact your local embassy or consulate for information on obtaining the appropriate travel documents for entry into Canada. Please DO NOT send us copies of your passport. We will not alter the visa letter as it is not required by the Canadian government for issuing a Business Visa Letter. Fees & Cancellations

You may cancel your conference pass in accordance with the following cancellation policy;

• All Registration passes are non-refundable. In the case that a delegate will not be able to use their purchased pass, delegate may elect to find a replacement to utilize the pass and must notify the event via email to change the pass information over to the new delegate contact. Delegate deadline for this request is 3 November, 2025.
• Transfer requests MUST be emailed to informa@microspec.com.
• Substitutions will only be permitted with request submitted to the event. Delegate registrations are issued for your personal use only and cannot be shared with any person during The Buildings Show. You may not purchase registrations as an agent for any third party, sell or otherwise transfer your registration to others, or exploit the registration commercially or non-commercially in any way.
• Please note that the conference program is subject to change, including programming cancellations and scheduling. The Buildings Show is not responsible and refunds will not be provided under these circumstances. Please check the website for the most up-to-date scheduling.
• Payment of registration confirms that you have read, understand, agree and will comply with the published registration cancellation policy.

In-Person Privacy Policy

On choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or sponsor, you are providing the exhibitor or sponsor with personal information and in doing so you agree to the exhibitor or sponsor contacting you in the future about their products or services. You understand that you can opt-out of this contact at any time by contacting the exhibitor or sponsor. Badges cannot be read remotely and must be scanned before any details are shared with exhibitors and sponsors.

You understand that your badge may be scanned on entry/exit to The Buildings Show and used in relation to event safety/security and that the event organizer may use this information in aggregate form to analyze/improve the visitor experience. Scanning at entry/exit is not associated with third party marketing consent choices that you may make.

Virtual Privacy Policy

Informa (and any third-party platform provider acting on our behalf) will use your personal information provided during the registration process to host and manage virtual events and for analyzing visitor traffic with an effort to improve the event experience for visitors.

During a virtual event, if you accept a connection or meeting invite or interact with sponsored content (e.g. attend live session or demonstration) your full contact details will be shared directly with a sponsor or exhibitor and they may follow-up in line with your indication of interest.
